  • In partnership with the U.S. Forest Service, U.S. National Park Service, and the Bureau of Land Management, the Eastern Sierra Interpretive Association (ESIA) is dedicated to forging strong emotional and intellectual bonds between the Sierra Nevada and the visitors and residents of this broad region. Our work helps people deepen their relationship with this special place and develop a commitment to protecting it. Your contribution allows ESIA to provide critical interpretive programs to educate and inspire people to become stewards of the land and care for this special region.

  • Eastern Sierra Interpretive Association (ESIA) is committed to protecting donor privacy. This Privacy Policy is designed to help donors and other members of the public understand how ESIA Foundation protects donor information both online and offline. The donor information ESIA gathers either online of offline is maintained in a restricted-access database and is not sold or distributed to third parties in any way. ESIA does not share or sell any donor information with anyone else, nor do we use donor information to send mailings on behalf of any other organizations.


    Collection and Use of Personal Donor Information


    Online, at www.sierraforever.org (this “Site”), we have developed our Site so that donors may visit it without providing their name, email address or similar personal information. We collect personally identifying data about donors, such as name, address and e-mail address, when donors provide such data to us voluntarily, whether online or offline. Regardless of whether we receive donor information online or offline, we store these data in a secure manner in a restricted-access database, and use this information strictly for activities directly related to the support of our mission and operations. We do not sell or rent any donor data to any third parties for any reason.


    Caveat: We may need to disclose certain donor information if such disclosure is deemed necessary to (a) take action regarding suspected illegal activities; (b) comply with legal process, such as a search warrant, subpoena, statute, or court order; or (c) protect our rights, reputation, personal safety and property, or those of our donors, other users, affiliates or the public.
