Bennettville Mine Interpretive Hike – Saturday, July 19

Summer is calling and the mountains are answering! It’s officially hiking season here in the Eastern Sierra, and we are excited to be lacing up our boots for a summer full of fun and educational guided interpretive hikes.
When: Saturday July 19, 9:00am – 12:00pm
Where: Bennettville Mine near Lee Vining – Meet at the large turnout on hwy 120 near the south end of Tioga Lake.
What: Easy-moderate 2.75 mile hike with a couple rocky sections. Visit an old mine and learn about the mining history of the Eastern Sierra.
All ages are welcome on all of our hikes, but children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
We recommend dressing in weather appropriate layers, having sun protection such as hats and sunglasses, wearing comfortable walking/hiking shoes, and bringing a small pack with water and snacks.
