MARK YOUR CALENDARIO! On Saturday, May 3, from 9 a.m. till Noon, Sierra Forever, in partnership with the City of Bishop, Whitebark Institute, Northern Inyo Healthcare District and other organizations, will be hosting a Family-Friendly, English/Spanish Bilingual Kid’s Day, or Día del Niño at the back end of Bishop City Park, across the street from the Bishop Senior Center. There will be informational booths, games and activities, including the CHP’s Bike Rodeo to teach kids about bike safety, talks on wildfire safety, bear awareness, and hantavirus prevention, and assistance in signing up for the City’s summer camps and swimming lessons. It will be a fun and informative day for kids and the adults that care for them. Come! All are welcome! ¡Todos están bienvenidos!
