Earth Gives is a Part of the Giving Tuesday Family!

As an Earth Gives 2024 nonprofit participant, Sierra Forever can receive monetary donations via EarthGives.org on #GivingTuesday, a global day of online giving that takes place on the Tuesday after Thanksgiving, which this year falls on Dec. 3.

Some program needs:

In the first photo that accompanies this narrative, you can see a female sage-grouse fitted with a GPS collar. These monitoring collars cost approx. $2,000 each.

In the second photo, you see a biologist using high-magnification spotting scopes that can help spot birds from up to 800 yards away. One such scope was instrumental in discovering a new sage-grouse breeding ground last year. These scopes run between $4,000 and $5,000 apiece.
