Events for October 3, 2026

Experience the magic of fall in the Eastern Sierra with one of our naturalists! Join us on Saturday, October 3rd for a free, family-friendly Fall Colors Walk through the aspen groves along the East Fork of Rock Creek.  We'll learn more about the changing season and how it affects the plants and animals of the Eastern Sierra. When: Saturday, October 3rd from 10:00am - 11:30am Where: Meet at East Fork Day Use Parking Lot (approximately 5 miles from Tom's Place up Rock Creek Rd.) Walk will consist of about 1.5 miles on a mostly flat dirt trail.  Please be sure to bring appropriate clothing layers for the weather, walking/hiking shoes, water and sun protection.  Inclement weather will cancel.
