Chipmunks live in a variety of habitats throughout North America. They keep busy from spring to fall, collecting seeds, fruits and insects, eating some and hiding most for the cold winter months. Chipmunks that live in colder climates hibernate through the winter, waking up every few days to eat from their cache of up to 6,000 nuts; those who live in warmer areas rarely hibernate, but are less likely to survive the winter. 1.25″ Hard enamel pin; black metal.
