Executive Oversight Committee

The Executive Oversight Committee (EOC) includes agency leadership from the Nevada Department of Wildlife (NDOW), California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW), United States Fish and Wildlife Service (USFWS), Bureau of Land Management (BLM), United States Forest Service (USFS), Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS),  United States Geological Survey (USGS), Los Angeles Department of Waterand Power (LADWP), and Mono County, California. The EOC is co-chaired by one state wildlife agency representative and one federal land management agency representative.

EOC responsibilities include:

  1. Leveraging collective resources.
  2. Assembling the best technical talent to direct and prioritize ongoing and future conservation actions.
  3. Ensuring consistent regulatory oversight.
  4. Achieving long-term conservation of the Bi-State DPS and its habitat.
  5. Ensuring a coordinated conservation effort across jurisdictional boundaries.
