The Bureau of Land Management is hosting a volunteer event for National Public Lands Day.

Location: Paradise Parking Lot: Lower Rock Creek Trail

When: September 23: 9am-12pm

The morning will focus on Lower Rock Creek Trail Maintenance, meeting at the Paradise parking lot.  You will be walking anywhere from 1.5-3 miles total to the work site and back to the parking lot.

BLM will provide hand tools needed for the project, which includes brushing and cutting back vegetation along the trail corridor.  The BLM will also provide gloves and eye protection.

Volunteers need to wear close-toed shoes.
