Wildflower Walk – Lundy Canyon

In celebration of National Wildflowers Week (May 14 - 20) designated by the United States Forest Service, Inyo National Forest botanists are hosting four Saturday “Wildflower Walks” at various locations during the summer blooming season. Botanists will be available for you to ask all your burning botanical questions. Until then, they’ll be posting on the Inyo National Forest’s Facebook page “Wildflowers of the Day” to share some of the species of blooming plants that can be spotted in different forest areas at this time. The exact location and other details about the Wildflower Walks are posted in the Events section of the Facebook page where you can RSVP. Summer Evening Program: New Shady Rest

New Shady Rest Campground Amphitheater 37° 38' 50.4204" N 118° 57' 45.0756" W, Mammoth Lakes

Due to heavy rain forecasted, this program has been CANCELLED ESIA naturalists will be giving evening program talks at campgrounds in the Eastern Sierra for July and August- every Saturday from 7-8 pm. All are welcome to join- even if you are not staying at the campground! Topics will be related to Sierra Nevada natural history. All programs are free of charge. Programs are outside and subject to cancellation without warning. An adult must accompany children on all programs. Dress for changing weather.
