National Public Lands Day Happenings at Mono Basin Scenic Area Visitor Center

On Saturday, Sept. 28, join Eastern Sierra Interpretive Association, the U.S. Forest Service - Inyo National Forest, and our partners at the Mono Basin Scenic Area Visitor Center north of Lee Vining for a celebration of Public Lands that goes on all day as follows: 8:30 a.m. till Noon - Visit the different booths of various conservation and environmental protection nonprofits and government agencies to learn about the wildlife and ecosystems of the Mono Basin. There will also be an opportunity to participate in a nature stewardship project. From 2 to 4 p.m. - Celebrate the Mono Basin Scenic Areas's 40th Anniversary!
