AAC Craggin’ Classic – Bishop

Tie in with the AAC for the widely anticipated return of the in-person Craggin’ Classic Series! Uniting climbers around the campfire at world-class climbing destinations, the Series gathers the climbing community to celebrate, to learn and develop new skills, and to give back to the crag. Films, parties, presentations, vendor villages, local food, and craft beer bring climbers together—both seasoned and new, local and visiting—to strengthen and celebrate the bonds within the community. Clinics, led by professional athletes and local guides, help you build the skills necessary to level up your climbing—be it leading outside for the first time or putting up a new route in the Torres del Paine. On Sunday, December 4th, we will have two 25-minute chats with a ranger at the Eastern Sierra Visitors Center. The subject of discussion will be ranger's choice! There will be two talks:    10:00 a.m.   and    2:00 pm Things to Know About Ranger Programs -All programs are free of charge. -Programs are outside and are subject to cancellation without warning. -Children must be accompanied by an adult on all programs. -Wear sturdy walking shoes, dress for changing weather. Bring a hat, water, snacks, sunscreen, and your curiosity.

Each week we will highlight an inspiring person in our community paired with a presentation, door prizes, and beer. The Winter Adventure Series is supported by Mammoth Mountaineering, Stellar Brew, Footloose, Sage to Summit, Rolling Chef, Elixir, and more. Zak Mills has been backcountry snowboarding for about 10 years in the Eastern Sierra, Pacific Northwest, Canada, and Alaska, among other places.
