Two Talks: Rangers Choice

On Sunday, December 4th, we will have two 25-minute chats with a ranger at the Eastern Sierra Visitors Center. The subject of discussion will be ranger's choice! There will be two talks:    10:00 a.m.   and    2:00 pm Things to Know About Ranger Programs -All programs are free of charge. -Programs are outside and are subject to cancellation without warning. -Children must be accompanied by an adult on all programs. -Wear sturdy walking shoes, dress for changing weather. Bring a hat, water, snacks, sunscreen, and your curiosity.

Zak Mills has been backcountry snowboarding for about 10 years in the Eastern Sierra, Pacific Northwest, Canada, and Alaska, among other places. Wildlife Tracking Workshop

Register for a Workshop!   Join professional wildlife tracker and mountain lion researcher Phil Johnston for a day in the woods learning to read the stories of wild animals through tracking. Phil has over a decade of experience teaching tracking and is certified as Senior Tracker through Tracker Certification North America. Come learn to identify the tracks and sign of the many charismatic creatures who make their living in the Eastern Sierra. Cost: $35 for Adults/ $10 for Children Advanced Sign up Required.
