Interpretive Programs are back! Join a naturalist from Inyo National Forest and take a walk among some of the oldest organisms on the planet. Learn more about the ancient bristlecone pines of Schulman Grove. All programs are free of charge and are outside so please bring sturdy shoes for walking, water, and snacks. The Sierra Nevada: Adapting to our Changing Climate

Inyo National Forest in partnership with ESIA, are premiering a new short film, “Sierra Nevada: Adapting to our Changing Climate” on Thursday, June 27 at 7 pm at the Mountain Rambler Brewery. “Spanning the Sierra Nevada, especially the Inyo National Forest, the film features stunning aerial visuals and focuses on how fuel reduction projects can help the forest adapt by reducing the effects of severe wildfires and efforts to revive the shrinking habitat of Inyo’s native Golden Trout,” said Egan Cornachione, Rangeland Specialist for Inyo National Forest and principal manager of the film project.
