What's Up? Walk Take a half-mile walk with Ranger Roland to learn about the night sky, planets, and stars, under our favorite star- the sun! The walk will be held sun or no sun.   All programs are free of charge. All programs meet at the Mobius Arch Trailhead Parking lot, unless stated otherwise. Programs are outside and subject to cancellation without warning. Children must be accompanied by an adult on all programs. Wear sturdy walking shoes and dress for changing weather. Bring water and snacks.

This snowshoe walk has been canceled due to weather. Join an ESIA naturalist for a free guided snowshoe walk from 11:30-1:00pm. Learn more about snow science, winter ecology, tracking, birds, and more! This is open to all ages and ability levels. Snowshoes are provided. Meet in from of the Mammoth Lakes Welcome Center. SOLD OUT: Wildlife Tracking Workshop

    This workshop is sold out. Join professional wildlife tracker and mountain lion researcher Phil Johnston for a day in the woods learning to read the stories of wild animals through tracking. Phil has over a decade of experience teaching tracking and is certified as Senior Tracker through Tracker Certification North America. Come learn to identify the tracks and sign of the many charismatic creatures who make their living in the Eastern Sierra. Cost: $35 for Adults/ $10 for Children Advanced Sign up Required. Space Limited to 20 people. Exact Meeting location will be shared upon sign-up.

CANCELED: Winter Adventure Series – Mikey Schaefer

Unfortunately due to weather, we have made the difficult decision to cancel Mikey Schaefer's presentation. We hope to reschedule at some point. Sorry for the inconvenience! ESIA will be hosting the 8th annual Winter Adventure Series on select Thursday nights. Each week we will highlight an inspiring person in our community paired with a presentation, door prizes, and beer. The Winter Adventure Series is supported by Mammoth Mountaineering, Stellar Brew, Footloose, Sage to Summit, Rolling Chef, Elixir, and more.
